We need a Facility Manager
- The Facility Manager will be responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, safety, and functionality of all company facilities, equipment, and utilities.
- The role requires a technically competent professional with at least 7 years’ hands-on experience in general facility management, preferably within hospitality or commercial environments, and a strong background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all buildings, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of power, water, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and external service providers.
- Manage electrical systems including generators, UPS, inverters, switchgear, lighting, and power distribution.
- Oversee mechanical systems such as HVAC, kitchen equipment, pumps, and plumbing installations.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety and engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date register of all facility assets and equipment.
- Ensure facilities are event-ready, safe, and fully functional.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in general facility management.
- Proven experience managing facilities in hospitality, commercial, or high-traffic environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
