Job Summary
The Sr. HR Manager, Rewards & Performance Management, plays a pivotal role in designing and managing variable compensation frameworks, incentive schemes, equity programs, and recognition initiatives. This role focuses on driving high-performance behaviors, retaining top talent, and ensuring that rewards systems align with organizational objectives. The position also provides tactical support and guidance to the HR Director in the execution of key rewards strategies.
Job Responsibilities

1. Variable Compensation Programs:

• Develop and manage variable pay structures, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and incentive targets.
• Communicate and support the rollout of variable pay programs to employees and leaders, driving understanding and engagement.

2. Incentives & Bonus Plan Administration:

• Oversee the design and execution of incentive and bonus plans, collaborating with Finance to ensure budget alignment and transparency.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of these programs and recommend enhancements to support evolving business needs.

3. Recognition and Retention Programs:

• Guide the design and implementation of recognition programs to foster engagement and reward high performance.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to implement retention strategies targeting high-performing and critical talent pools.

4. Performance Management:

• Coordinate performance cycles, including goal setting, reviews, and calibration sessions.
• Provide tools, training, and guidance to managers for effective performance evaluation.

5. Benefits Management:

• Strategically oversee the design and evaluation of benefits programs, ensuring alignment with employee needs and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal standards in benefits administration.

6. Data Analytics & Reporting:

• Analyse program metrics to assess effectiveness and provide insights to leadership.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

7. Employee Communication & Education:

• Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance employee understanding of rewards programs.
• Lead training sessions to empower employees and managers with knowledge on rewards frameworks.

8. Team Collaboration & Development:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports, fostering their professional development.
• Collaborate with HR leaders across functions to integrate rewards and performance programs with broader talent strategies.

9. Peer Networking:

• Actively engage with external networks and industry forums to inform best practices and benchmarking efforts.

10. Other Support:

• Provide strategic support to the HR Director on rewards and performance initiatives as required.

Candidate Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in HR, with at least 2 to 3 years in a team lead role handling compensation, incentive design, benefits, policies, strategic workforce planning, and performance management in a large, multi-business organization.

Technical Skills:

• Strong functional knowledge of compensation and benefits frameworks, including variable pay structures.
• Expertise in performance management systems and KPI development.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with expertise in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent ability to understand business needs and translate them into well-structured, business-enabling HR processes.
• Strong planning and organizing skills.
• High individual drive yet a good team player.
• Effective communication skills across hierarchical levels.
• Empathy, personal tact, and cultural awareness.

• Ability to handle very confidential information on a daily basis.
• Strong analytical skills and detail-orientation.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

JOB PURPOSE

The Floor Supervisor ensures smooth day-to-day restaurant operations according to the brand's established standards and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the restaurant's opening and closing procedures, ensuring adherence to norms and guidelines. Check merchandise and displays daily to maintain brand standards.

• Support others by conducting monthly inventory tasks for all brand equipment, following established procedures.

• Follow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure proper uniform and personal hygiene cleanliness at all times, for oneself and others.

• Participate in achieving the organization’s goals, meeting the brand's set targets, and ensuring proper implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Greet customers upon their arrival, present them with the menu, assist in their selection, and visit their table to ensure satisfaction.

• Carry out various customer service activities, including handling customer bills, cases, and inquiries that are more complex or outside the norm.

• Carry out functional supervisory duties, including delegating tasks, establishing deadlines, overseeing results and quality, providing training, and communicating team requests to higher management.

• Oversee the work of all staff members and closely monitor adherence to the brand's prescribed preparation techniques.

Qualifications

LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in English. Fluency in Arabic is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office

Food Safety Level

• Level two.

EDUCATION

Technical degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

Three to five years of experience in F&B operations, or a similar role.

As Assistant Director of Finance, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.
Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the hotel/resort.

Duties and Responsibilities
As Assistant Director of Finance, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Finance department within Six Senses financial operating standards. In conjunction with the General Manager and other executives, I am a key participant in setting the strategic direction of the resort.
The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Establish and maintain effective management of the resort’s accounting practices and provide a flow of financial information and reporting to all divisions and departments, Home Office and the owners.
• Prepare the annual budget and capital expenditure plan and monitor actual financial performance to budget.
• Oversee the financial transactions, including approval of purchase requisitions and orders, payments, petty cash, payroll, audit and other financial requests.
• Ensure internal controls are in place to provide compliance with financial, legislation and taxation requirements and that our financial, payroll and information systems are effective.
• Respond immediately to audit issues and oversee required action to address deficiencies.
• Continually improve the financial function in line with Six Senses practices.
• Commit that the Purchasing practices will meet the requirements of the Six Senses Sustainability & Eat With Six Sense platforms and guidelines.
• Undertake vendors/suppliers vetting, stocktakes and storage assessment at the required times to ensure all stock is on hand, properly stored and in line with Six Senses standards.
• Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability and ROIC.
• Operate the property consistent with all legal, statutory and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained to ensure the successful operation of the hotel.

Qualifications
To execute the position of Assistant Director of Finance, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and minimum of 5 years experience in the same or similar role in luxury hotels with proven results. I Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
