About the Role:

A critical player in the project management cycle, The GAC (Gulf & Arab Countries) Regional Senior Business Analyst is a professional who works in the Project Management Office (PMO) reporting to the GAC Regional Commercial Transformation PMO.

The incumbent main role is to support with the strategy of the GAC Region via Coordination of the project streams, guaranteeing the correct implementation of the project plan and different project phases, respecting budget, time and quality requirements. She/he directly supports project management activities to accelerate the change management and planning activities.

As part of this role, the Regional Senior Business Analyst supports the Regional Managing Director in some activities (e.g. understanding of market context, business, trade, consumer, competition, Board preparation and follow-up, identify potential impacts/ highlight relevant issues).

Main Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, supporting in development of strategies to achieve business objectives, and optimizing operational processes.

She/he works closely with senior management to align business goals with strategic initiatives, conduct competitive analysis, and make recommendations for improving efficiency.

The incumbent organizes or supports key recurring meetings such as region boards, business reviews etc.., facilitates interaction with Area/Group and supports the Region Manager in the review of agenda and contents.

As a Senior Business Analyst part of the Project Management Office, she/he needs to develop project operating plan according to project scope, objectives, and approach, defining activities, timing, responsibility for the different streams highlighting milestones and deliverables.

The PMO responsibilities includes cascading project plan for the different stream leaders, coordinating the project streams, guaranteeing the correct implementation of the project plan and the different project phases. The role facilitates the required change management to move from project to process.

Who we are looking for:

The role requires 5+ years of experience preferably in FMCG or Strategy consulting firm.

The incumbent holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, or business. Project management certification is a plus.

Fluency in English language is a must (Arabic language is a plus). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office tools: PPT, Excel, etc.

The Senior Business Analyst needs to have a basic understanding of company’s Financial Reporting and/or Supply chain fundamentals.

In order to be successful in this role, the incumbent needs to have strong organizational skills, project management skills and a track record of working against deadlines.

As this role works closely with the regional managing director and takes part in regional management meetings, the incumbent needs to have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive personal relationships with different internal stakeholders.

Basic qualifications

Strategic Designers bring deep expertise in design research and concepts, translating insights into innovation and business growth opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the full strategic design process hands on to transform customer insights into impactful opportunities for growth
• Lead qualitative research and synthesize learnings from both, qualitative and quantitative sources into actionable insights and tangible artifacts (e.g. personas, customer journey maps, opportunity maps)
• Facilitate ideation workshops and creative sessions
• Envision and conceptualize new business ideas and services with game- changing potential and bring them to life through creative storytelling
• Iteratively design and refine solutions through low- to high-fidelity prototyping
• Design and run experiments and pilots to validate/evaluate new products, services or businesses
• Work closely with project management to support cross-functional process management and project delivery and ensure that I&D delivers successfully
• Help ensure that I&D is successful at delivering high-impact results
• Independently lead design portion of project work; independently design workplans for own and design team on the project, identify, prioritize, and execute on highest value add activities, oversee work for more junior designers
• Consistently help build alignment on project priorities and backlog; enable seamless relationship with multi-disciplinary teams i.e. management consultants, data scientists, engineers, etc.
• Effectively collaborate with, co-create with, and influence multiple stakeholders (project team, client team, experts, outside partners)
• Build relationships with senior level client stakeholders
• Help to bring Bain to the next level as a business
• Enhance I&D brand through support of external marketing activities
• Play an active role in the recruitment of new design talent across EMEA and in our growing team in Dubai in particular
• Build the I&D knowledge base by capturing learnings from client engagements
• Teach and transfer knowledge, expertise, and capabilities to Bain teams and client teams
• Serve as a supervisor for more junior members of the (design) team
• Support on client business development for I&D i.e. preparing proposals and building relationship across Bain Middle East offices
• Contribute to I&D culture creation and take on team, office, or firm initiatives as part of the EMEA I&D team

ABOUT YOU

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience shaping digital products, services, and/or new ventures (or equivalent experience) in roles such as Service Designer, Value Proposition/ Business Designer or CX Designer, etc.
• A thorough, practiced, understanding of Design Thinking and Agile methods
• Skillset expertise focused on strategic design, research, UX/UI, service design, omnichannel experience design, and/or digital product design
• Experience leading workstreams independently and overseeing more junior designers
• Comfort with and passion for all parts of the design process, from early-stage insights gathering, to strategy definition, concepting, and prototyping
• Fluency in working with state of collaboration and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Webflow, Adobe CS), exposure to GenAI Design tools
• Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
• A highly ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity
• This role requires some travel in region - up to 40% travel to clients across Middle East/ EMEA
• Fluency in Arabic and English is a mandatory requirement

An ideal candidate will also have:

• Experience working on Middle East-based projects and a good understanding of cultural design norms in the region
• Experience working in a client services environment
• An understanding of business strategy
• Passion for expanding Service Design practice and exploring emerging industry trends e.g. GenAI, behavioural design, immersive experience, etc.
