About the Role:

Enhance customer experience by providing customers timely updates and accurate information related to disruptions that have an impact on their travel plans through phone calls, emails, SMS, WhatsApp queries and any other means. Perform all cross functional duties as per operational requirements and directed by the Shift In-Charge. Implement and actively achieve Key Performance Indicators.

Accountabilities:

• Maintain Qatar Airways professional image by adhering to all applicable grooming policies.
• Assist the passengers at all times, providing the best services.
• Respond to e-mails and calls from the QR Network and other internal stakeholders.
• Assist in compiling shift reports.
• Print TJQ Report at the end of each shift and cross check to verify no ticketing errors.
• Perform cross functional duties including ticketing, customer calling, social media and other department duties whenever operationally required related to his/her position as directed by the Shift in charge, NDS Manager or Head of the Department.
• Timely and accurate update of all databases, log sheets etc. management reports, dashboards and analysis.

Network Disruption Support:

• Ensure all disruption activities such as Customer Communication, CM to CM Transfer, Re-routing; on service recovery etc. are completed within the specified time frame.
• Ensure standard of service quality is maintained by liaising with the outstation on implementation of process and obtaining customer feedback to improvise the process.
• Communicate with disrupted customers, reroute and transfer customer to one flight to another in ALTEA system (CM to CM transfer). Ensure customers misconnected are re-routed or protected on next available flight, as per disposal received from the commercial team.
• Handle disrupted customer questions, complaints, and inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism and resolve customer issues by providing solutions and/or alternatives with first call resolution.
• Communicates with network airports and all stakeholders for consistency in service delivery. Follow QR procedures and manage large amounts of inbound and outbound disruptive calls professionally to match the needs of Qatar Airways customers.
• Record all complaints, escalate to immediate superior for necessary action and close the complaint with satisfied response to the customer by providing feedback to customer care team.

Qualifications

About you:

• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience
• Any IATA / Airline qualifications preferred
• Customer facing role in service industry.
• Experience and desire working a rotating roster.
• Excellent spoken, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Able to mediate minor customer disputes
• Knowledge in Ticketing systems, ALTEA CM and ARD preferred

Lead Business Improvement Associate, The Emirates Group, Dubai, UAE

We need a Lead Business Improvement Associate,

Job Purpose: Deliver Cargo business solutions as per the business process/requirements. Implement KPIs to assesses the effectiveness of the changed process and the usage of tools while continuously identifying opportunities to further improve the process and tools based on business demand, industry trend, and technological advancements.

In this role, you will:

Plan

o Develop and implement a structured approach to ensure the availability of systems and automated interfaces (vendor-supplied or in-house) to meet operational targets and deliver exceptional service levels aligned with operational goals

o Create and execute evaluation frameworks to monitor tool and solution usage by the user community, identify gaps or non-compliance, and outline actionable improvement plans

o Collaborate with managers to identify, prioritise, and plan for the acquisition of tools required to meet objectives, including organising and overseeing proof-of-concept initiatives.

Deploy

o Guide and support direct reports in defining detailed deployment and rollout plans, ensuring seamless implementation of changes across warehouses and other facilities

o Approve and certify the product following successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring readiness for live production operations

o Actively participate in configuring and validating product readiness for smooth production deployment and rollout.

Lead

o Lead and drive the enhancement of business and system processes within dnata Cargo, ensuring operational requirements are consistently met with the highest standards of service and cost efficiency. Inspire teams to prioritise continuous improvement and innovation

o Oversee, coordinate, and align cargo systems with operational requirements and industry trends to achieve optimal performance efficiencies

o Set a leadership benchmark by comparing systems, service level agreements, work instructions, and processes against leading industry standards, ensuring dnata Cargo remains competitive and ahead of the curve

o Champion customer-centric leadership by understanding and evaluating changes recommended by external customers

o Lead feasibility studies to assess the value of these changes and ensure their incorporation benefits all stakeholders while fostering collaboration and alignment.

Execute

o Execute and manage the efficient scheduling and implementation of changes in business/system processes, ensuring the availability of systems and automated interfaces to meet operational targets seamlessly

o Perform process audits and assess system workflows to ensure alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify gaps, analyse deviations, and execute corrective or new processes in line with industry guidelines

o Collaborate actively with the team to resolve critical process/system issues promptly, ensuring operational continuity and minimal downtime

o Monitor and ensure that all internal and external customer complaints or cases are resolved within agreed SLA norms, prioritising timely execution and customer satisfaction

o Support the implementation process by assisting the Business Technology Improvement Controller in analysing changes and recommendations for effective deployment

o Proactively recommend and execute preventive measures by analysing reported system, tool, and interface issues to mitigate risks and enhance system reliability.

Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Airline Operations, Electro-mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Information Technology

· 4-6 years of experience relevant post qualification experience in Cargo handling Systems/Environment

· Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain, Air Cargo Industry and Warehouse

· Ability to understand, communicate, and translate Business/Operational processes into System Requirements

· Analytical ability to engage in or liaise with Group IT teams to test interface level information between systems (agents and airlines)

· Advanced proficiency in data collection, cleansing, and analysis, enabling the extraction of actionable insights to informed decision-making

· Expertise in presentation and facilitation, ensuring the effective communication of complex information and the successful management of collaborative discussions

You will have an edge, if you have:

· Active Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma certification

· Experience in implementing large scale complex IT systems across multiple international locations

· Experience in a dynamic & fast paced industry such as aviation or airline operations

· Experience in automation and autonomy in an industrial or adjacent setting.

· Experience in e-commerce and/or courier.

Position Summary

Manage; and arrange all Aircraft and client services.

Minimum Requirements

• High school certificate + 10 years experience in aircraft ground operation or any equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years in aircraft ground operation or any equivalent experience.
• Flight dispatcher license.
• Medical fitness.
• Excellent English (Read – Write – Speak)
• Course in Ramp safety and Security.
• Course in handling and Dangerous Goods.

Course in Human Factor.

Main Responsibilities

Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times
Ensuring that safety considerations are given the foremost priority.
Apply safety measures as required by the SMS procedures and instructions.
Report Incident, accident and\or unsafe conditions immediately
Provide and serve aircrafts with required paperwork (Flight plan- NOTAM – Weather reports and Charts, etc.
Assign tasks to Operation employee’s accordance with customer demands.
Hotel reservations.
Prepare and file work orders (arrival- departure- permits) cash / credit.
Follow up crew visas.
Acknowledge customer mails on a timely manner with replies in line with rules and regulation (e-mails).
Coordinate and follow up handling requests at any other airports in the kingdom
Crew transportation from/to the terminal.
Support other department with their tasks sales and services.
Arrange Catering, Fuel and Third-Party services on behalf of customer when requested.
Train new subordinates on workflow, rules, and regulations.
Identify aircraft parking spots.
Hand over and briefing to next shift.
Report any incidents or accidents and write technical and administrative reports.
Provide any other needed tasks/ services required by management/ Clients/ Government.

The Hangar environment may be extremely hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
