Geozone Training and Recruiting Lead - HR, Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose
This role is an integral part of the Corporate Talent Management team within the Global Human Resources Function at Weatherford, UAE. Based in Technopark Dubai, UAE, the NextGen Program Manager will focus on recruiting and training initiatives while overseeing all PL (Product Line) activities. Working in close collaboration with HR Leadership, Global and Geozone HR Business Partners, and other HR COEs, this position serves as an embedded Subject Matter Expert on talent acquisition and talent management best practices in MENA, with specific focus on NextGen initiatives. The role maintains an effective level of business literacy about organizational talent priorities to drive optimal talent practices across the enterprise, particularly in the MENA region. This role involves travelling to some extent (20-30%) across MENA.
Responsibilities
Lead the NextGen initiatives focused on recruiting and training engineers for the oil & gas industryOversee all PL activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and talent requirementsDevelop and implement recruiting strategies to identify and attract top engineering talentDesign and manage training programs to accelerate competency development of new hiresMonitor and improve key metrics including training completion rates, time-to-competency, and stakeholder satisfactionUndertake the role of Performance Management Champion, conducting educational workshops, calibration sessions, and consultationsServe as the Talent focal point for identification, succession planning, and development plan consolidationAnalyze workforce needs versus available talent pool across the MENA regionInterpret and present data as key metrics to leadership and stakeholdersCreate and deliver Talent initiatives across the enterpriseCollaborates with Human Resources, Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to drive strategies for recruitment & retentionFosters an environment that supports the attraction & retention of high-performing talented workforceEnforces growth opportunities for engineering talent as per technical career paths.Demonstrates leadership, ethical behavior, and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times.Contributes to the Weatherford HR strategy with a focus on engineering talent developmentCreates a compelling vision and purpose that is understood across the organizationSkills
Effective project management skills and utilizing technology to enable collaborationAbility to work effectively independently and as a member of cross-functional global teamsConfident decision-maker with the ability to influence stakeholdersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAdvanced skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other standard Microsoft Office softwareOutgoing, proactive, analytical, and responsible personalityQuick learner with strong stakeholder management skillsUnderstanding of career paths in the oil & gas industryField experience or exposure in the oil & gas industry 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required)Minimum 4 years of experience working in the field – oil field service industry (required)Knowledge of OFS industry and product lines (required)Specialized Microsoft Office skills with a particular focus on Excel and PowerPointPrior experience with projects or initiatives involving the recruitment and technical training of engineers.
