The role will be to manage and maintain relationships with an integrated portfolio of UAE clients, to include Medical, Dental, Vision and other products as required, ultimately to maximise client retention and satisfaction and to grow our business through the existing client base to enhance Cigna’s profitability. To achieve this, account planning, close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and a deep understanding of Cigna products and offering are essential. Developing and delivering strategic plans for corporate clients and providing proactive advice to clients on regulatory requirements will be essential.
Main duties/Responsibilities
Work strategically with existing clients to ensure their needs are met and to be an ambassador for Cigna
Develop effective and close working relationships with intermediaries that are retained by Cigna clients to ensure their continued support
Liaise with underwriters and other functions to construct attractive proposals for renewal terms and other products that maintain or improve Cigna’s profitability
Actively seek out new cross-sales and other opportunities to grow the business through our existing client base
Present proposals on existing business and in support of new business to clients and intermediaries to maintain and expand existing relationships
Liaise with Legal Services/Marketing to produce high quality client literature
Ongoing ownership of Personal Development to enhance self and business
Feedback on client and market intel to other teams in the business
Support development of Cigna’s product proposition
Proactively manage and negotiate renewal of assigned experienced rated portfolio in line with profitability and persistency target
Work with Legal and Compliance Team to ensure a full and solid understanding of regulatory requirements of the Middle East region with ability to explain to clients and brokers
Liaise with internal teams to ensure clients receive excellent service
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, adhering to the terms in the contract, invoicing, ensuring the quality of deliverables, securing references and testimonials, accurately manage forecast, balance partner needs vs. business requirements and profitability, utilize products to add value to Cigna’s overall offering, adhere to internal policies and provide timely and relevant information to management

Experience in a Client Management Role
Medical Insurance and compliance experience is essential
Ability to demonstrate Cigna’s guiding principles
Must have regional knowledge of regulation
