Responsibilities:
Spa and Fitness Centre
- Responsible for overseeing both the service and appearance of the Spa and Fitness & Wellness areas.
- Continually monitor equipment usage and attendance of guests in all health, fitness and wellness activities and programs.
- Review and follow up accordingly with equipment maintenance contracts.
Human Resources
- Responsible for the recruitment and selection of Spa-Fitness Facilitators, Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors.
- Supports the growth of Spa-Fitness Facilitators in achieving their fitness-oriented career goals within the Company.
- Responsible for timely documentation and the discipline of the staff members in accordance with progressive discipline procedures outlined in Human Resource Policy & Procedure Guide
- Develop schedules for all personnel reporting to Fitness and Wellness Manager ensuring this is a schedule that meets the needs of the operation
- To communicate any changes of schedule with Spa Director
Training
- Designs and executes training for Spa-Fitness Facilitators, and Personal Trainers.
- Training personnel to be able to explain all Fitness & and Wellness programs
- To provide any coaching or program instruction that is within skill set and personal knowledge
System
- Continue to update SOP’s for facilitators and personal trainers accordingly
- Oversee and continue to update the filing system accordingly
Operations
- Oversees the maintenance of the swimming pool, fitness center and studio
- To assist performing fitness evaluations as and when necessary and personal programs
- Manages specific incentive programs for Spa Colleagues pertaining to Fitness and Wellness, to secure the identity of being the leader and role model in the spa and wellness industry.
- Conduct fitness and wellness program as and when is necessary
- To be the first point of contact for corporate groups.
