The Sales and Services Senior Finance Analyst role is a highly commercial role that helps to manage the flow of financial information between finance, sales and services; providing meaningful insight to the numbers to help business decision making.
Working closely with the Sales Finance Director, this role requires engagement with key stakeholders to ensure linked up reporting and messaging. The candidate must be supremely confident with handling data in excel, with fluency in other programmes (e.g VBA, PowerQuery, PowerBI) a bonus. The candidate must also be comfortable in a highly changeable environment and be motivated to drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities
• Timely review of actuals against forecast KPIs (e.g revenue, ARR, cost) and reporting of variance analysis.
• Assist with the annual planning cycle
• Maintain revenue forecast models for key areas of the business and consolidating the company wide revenue forecast
• Prepare internal Services financial reporting for various levels of the organization
• Manage OPERA workbook used for Services Bid review.
• Support contract negotiations through analysis and accounting IFRS15 understanding
• Implement process to improve cost governance within Sales.
• Making improvements to the quality, accuracy of data and data driven insights.
• Creating exec level Powerpoint presentations
• Support the Sales Finance Director with ad-hoc executive level queries
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related degree
• 5 years related experience with demonstrated understanding of Project accounting (POC revenue)
• Knowledge of Financial and ERP systems, Oracle, SAP and SQL data warehouse experience is a plus
• A desire to work in Commercial finance, with a focus on the commercial engine of Aveva in Sales and Services.
• Flexibility to work across time zones
• Excellent verbal, analytical, written and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable and resourceful in conducting analysis to inform decision making
