Your role
You will be the main production resource and build the first prototypes together with Engineering.
Optimize the processes, methods and tools related to production.
Support to set up an effective production flow and give feedback on the design to Engineering.
Train new operators when the organization expands
Specific Responsibilities of the Production Technician:
Support the set up of material and production flow, physical and theoretical
Build up and continue to develop ways of working
Hands on assembly of modules and systems, the assembly will contain of mechanics, Electronics, Harnesses.
Building relations with internal and external interfaces
Collaborate with cross functional groups including Logistics, Supply Chain and Engineering.
Work with manufacturing and support teams to establish and improve processes.
Represent production in design and build the first generation of products.
Experience & Skills
Diploma or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Production, proven experience of several production areas including IPC Certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong understanding of production and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related to production concepts.
Experience in manufacturing and production techniques.
Experience with ERP systems preffered.
Communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience required.
Understanding in ISO-9001, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and with other departments.
You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written word.
Driver’s license
This position requires that you undergo a security screening in accordance with the Saab internal processes.
