Job Description
Bitoasis, the largest and most trusted cryptocurrency platform in the MENA region, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager / Sr. Manager for their FP&A function to join the Finance team. As a pioneer in the region's cryptocurrency ecosystem, BitOasis has established itself as the go-to platform for first-time cryptocurrency buyers and professional traders. With a commitment to providing the most secure and regulated infrastructure in cryptocurrency trading, BitOasis is dedicated to serving retail and institutional clients across the region.
Role Responsibilities
Build and maintain the financial modelling to support the company's strategic decision-making process.
Implement and drive the core financial processes and reporting for the business including Annual Operating Plans, Long Term Plans, and Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews. Present financial reports and analysis to key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance
Identify operating improvements, deep dive on cost structures, and lead various free-cash-flow initiatives.
Participate in building and evaluation of business proposals.
Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities
Drive the automation agenda in the finance function; develop tools for reporting automation.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes related to cryptocurrencies and financial services
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
Relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results
Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
Experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
Qualifications
MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) and 8-10 years of relevant experience
Experience in demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result
Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment;
Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and mid-senior levels of management
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, and/or Cognos) or other financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP), providing solutions based on results of ad hoc analyses to senior management for strategic decision-making
