Junior Accountant

We are searching for an experienced Junior Accountant at our MEDLOG Saudi Arabia - Ad Dammam facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Payable is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function. This includes processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, assisting with payment runs, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Review and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
Ensure proper coding and approval of invoices according to company policy.
Prepare and process payments (cheques, bank transfers, etc.).
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain AP records and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to AP.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain good relationships.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with VAT and other applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in AP.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software SAP
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
