Job Purpose
Bespin Global is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Head of Digital. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving our digital transformation strategy by identifying and leveraging emerging digital trends, technologies, and business models to ensure the organization remains competitive in the digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
Drive innovation, encourage the team members to think creatively and to find new ways of doing things.
Foster an environment that encourages eagerness, commitment, and high levels of performance by motivating team members to perform at their best and building a positive work environment.
Foster an environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork, leveraging the strengths of each team member and supporting to develop their skills and abilities.
Empower the team members to make decisions where appropriate, fostering a culture of trust, responsibility, and problem-solving mindset.
Create contingency plans, act swiftly and decisively when problems occur within the team.
Guide the team members through changes, help them to manage resistance and keep morale high.
Act as role models, demonstrating Bespin Motto, behaviours, and ethics that Bespin aspires to uphold.
Digital Strategy
Develop and execute the overall IT strategy, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Develop a roadmap for the Sales force and ERP platform in line with company objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Establish IT policies, procedures, standards and disaster recovery plans to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency.
Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies. Identify and leverage opportunities for digital innovation.
Collaborate with other departments to align digital strategies with overall business objectives.
Drive the company's digital transformation efforts, modernizing processes and systems to enhance efficiency and agility.
Data Analytics and Reporting
Utilize data analytics to drive strategy, making data-driven decisions and measuring the effectiveness of organization initiatives.
Budget and Project Management
Oversee the budget for digital initiatives, making sure resources are used effectively to deliver on strategic goals and deliver a good return on investment.
Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, and manage project sources effectively.
Oversee IT projects, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of technology solutions.
Additional Responsibilities
Systems Development
Analysis business requirements from end-users and translate requirements into technical designs and system configuration.
Define system architecture, infrastructure requirements, and integration strategies.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based solutions.
Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of systems and applications, such as CRM and ERP, aligned with industry best practices.
Evaluate system performance, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues, and ensure system stability and availability
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and technology partners, leveraging their expertise and services to support IT services and optimization efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and applications with existing business processes.
IT Service Management
Ensure the IT service desk effectively manages and resolves service requests and incidents.
Monitor and maintain high levels of service quality and user satisfaction.
Job Specification
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field
Professional Certificates
AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect
Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (desired)
ITIL 4 Foundation (desired)
Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1 (desired)
Knowledge
Experience with product development methodologies.
Familiarity with ERP market trends and technologies.
Strong understanding of CRM best practices and Salesforce's technical capabilities.
Knowledge of Certinia [FinancialForce], SAP SuccessFactors and Jira Cloud is highly desired.
In depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security concepts.
Strong experience architecting and directing comprehensive IT solutions to business problems.
Strong experience in the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, NodeJS or Python.
Experience in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
