We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Finance Assistant to join our team at Zapegg Tax Consultant. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the success of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about finance and is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Accurately record financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and receipts in our accounting system. Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval and analysis.
Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with our financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist with processing payments, monitoring accounts receivable, and liaising with clients and vendors to resolve any payment-related inquiries.
Financial Reporting: Support in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into our clients’ financial performance.
Expense Management: Help manage and control expenses by verifying and processing employee expense reports and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Assist in Tax Preparation: Collaborate with the tax department to gather and organize relevant financial data for tax returns and ensure timely filing and compliance.
General Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, record-keeping, and assisting with ad-hoc financial projects.
Client Interaction: Maintain professional and responsive communication with clients, addressing inquiries and providing necessary financial information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of tax regulations and financial compliance is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
