For this bid/project we are seeking an Integration Expert as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH UAE Branch. In your role, you will be providing support to the DB E&C team on site in UAE and in Oman.

The job opening is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.
Responsibilities:
Support the development of and oversee the Systems Integration and Interface Management project activities
Establish and maintain a systematic, documented, comprehensive, and verifiable systems integration process to be applied throughout the duration of the project
Ensure accuracy of the work produced by the design team and contractors, including plans, specifications and estimates
Oversee the integration of all system interfaces so that the system is properly integrated with other systems, equipment, and data
Interface with the other disciplines and suppliers to ensure proper configuration of the systems for all aspects of the project
Work closely with Planning and Interface Manager and provide oversight of systems integration and acceptance testing including procedures, documents, and approval steps
Responsible for interface management and requirements fulfillment, providing direction to engineering teams in order to achieve specified technical requirements/schedules
Evaluate design changes and impacts on the interfaces and develop and coordinate Interface Control Documents and Systems Interface Matrix
Manage the vehicle configuration, make sure of traceability of work and documents required by the contract, and that all maintenance requirements are adhered to
Ensure system or vehicle modifications are compatible and integrate with new or existing systems or vehicles
Liaise with ‘Planning and Interface’ and ‘Compliance’ managers to plan and schedule integration tests and documentation and submission of result reports
Manage and organize work of subcontractors and overlaps, resolve conflicts, and manage issue log and risk register; and
Identify, initiate, and implement corrective actions and process improvement methodologies in line with cost reduction and lean organization
Qualifications:
University degree, preferably a master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
15 years’ experience in Railway Projects with minimum of 10 years of design and construction experience in Rail Projects, work experience in GCC region would be of advantage
Several years of professional experience in senior managerial roles
Candidate shall have held the same position for at least one project of a similar size
Good understanding of European and North America and railway standards
GCC experience necessary
Excellent communication skills, English written and verbal, are essential to success in this role
Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
Good communication and leadership skills
Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications, MS Teams and Share Point Online
