HDR is seeking a strong manager to lead and support our team partnership with the Area Business Group Manager for Building Engineering Services (BES).
In the role of Senior Architect, we'll count on you to:
The BES Area Lead will be primarily focused on building a BES team to pursue and deliver work in the local markets. This person will coordinate with the staff, key internal stake holders and external clients. This individual will be a part of the regional team coordinating resources and pursuits across the broader regional team.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead and manage architectural projects from inception to completion
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop creative and sustainable design solutions
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations
Utilize your expertise in Revit for the development of architectural plans and models
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Foster client relationships and deliver exceptional service

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Architecture degree (not Science) from an accredited institution
Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience
Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural software
Strong design, technical, and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
A proven track record of successfully leading architectural projects
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus
Architectural registration (RA) or pursuit of registration is preferred
