JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Consultant - Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our ERM team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. They will work closely with clients to assess their risk landscape, develop comprehensive risk management strategies, and implement effective risk mitigation measures.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and thought leadership to clients in the development and implementation of enterprise risk management strategies.
Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks across the organization, considering both internal and external factors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Assist clients in defining risk appetite and tolerance levels and establish key risk indicators (KRIs) to monitor risk exposure.
Design and facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate clients on risk management concepts and practices.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess the potential impact and likelihood of identified risks.
Develop risk mitigation plans and recommend appropriate risk treatment strategies to clients.
Support clients in implementing risk management initiatives and monitoring the effectiveness of risk controls.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that may impact clients' business operations.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of risk management engagements.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster their professional growth.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Finance, Business or other related field
Industry related certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIA, CRMA, or similar qualification)
In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies, such as COSO ERM or ISO 31000.
4-5 years professional experience in ERM/ internal audit preferably within Big4 and/or leading companies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple engagements concurrently.
Proficiency in risk management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Willingness to travel as needed to client sites
