We are looking for a strong Program Manager who is responsible for leading a large cross-functional team or multiple cross-functional teams to deliver Digital programs on time and on budget for our clients all across the MENA region. This role involves working with our regional, international & offshore teams as each of our programs will have a mix of teams from our offices across the world. The role will involve Managing complex programs and may also involve working with other project managers leading engagements within this program of work that we expect this person to own from an overall accountability standpoint. The role may therefore have people management responsibilities as well over a period of time.
A day in the life of a Program Manager
As a Program Manager, you manage large and complex Design and Technology based development programs or strategy-led engagements. Further you uphold the highest standards of project management methodology including regular and effective communication with key stakeholders, governance, change management, and thorough risk management
In addition, you will:
Escalating of any issues arising in the support of work streams managed which may have a negative impact on the International platform/process or the delivery of the project as a whole or on resources and/ or systems
Ensuring all work undertaken is delivered in accordance with Delivery guidelines and framework and the company's Project Management and Methodology
Taking accountability for direct and independent management of primarily high-risk/strategic projects
Ensuring a full understanding of project impact and then translating that into comprehensive engagement strategies
Performing all usual responsibilities of a Project Manager/ Program Manager in accordance with policy, methodology, and artifact creation
Overseeing scope, identification of project deliverables, and creation of project-specific documentation such as functional specifications, technical specifications, etc.
Engaging with local partners and other Valtech offices teams internationally to be able to deliver Valtech Dubai engagements
We would love if you have
Minimum 8 years of relevant Program management experience within a digital agency or consultancy
Strong experience in having led regional engagements in MENA preferably in industries such as Travel, Retail, Financial Services, and Public Sector
Experience in managing teams that are working remotely from international offices and near-shore countries
Full Financial / P&L ownership of the engagements owned
Ability to clearly demonstrate management of cross-functional/cross-discipline teams both through direct management and influence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
