JOB TITLE: PRINCIPAL ENGINEER – SYSTEM ENGINEERING
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determine methods and solutions for complex engineering problems in tandem with the technical specialist and select the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives.
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications to ensure the project deliverables meet client’s requirements.
Perform overall quality control of the assigned work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support.
Setting up, organizing, and implementing the Systems Engineering philosophy aimed at the execution phase of the projects
Ensures the efficient flow of information systems in order to provide top-level support and maximum performance of requirements management desired by Client.
Provides technical support and guidance for all functions within the project.
Regularly conducts systems audits; prepares a report.
Organizing, implementing, and managing information management systems (including Relatics)
Analyzes systems; prepares a set of recommendations for the purpose of improving the level of efficiency of integration.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Good understanding of the EPC work cycle.
Previous experience in implementation of Systems Engineering on Oil & Gas and/ or Renewable Energy projects.
Experience with software (like Relatics) including information modeling.
Minimum 5+ years in Systems Engineering implementation on EPC projects (Renewable energy projects would be an advantage).
Engineering Bachelor’s Degree with relevant certification in Systems Engineering or Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering.
