Job Description:

Remitly is registered as a Money Services Business in the U.S., Canada, EU, United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia. Each of these jurisdictions require, among other items, that Remitly maintain a comprehensive Risk and Compliance Program.
You will:
Develop a comprehensive product strategy tailored to the Middle Eastern markets, taking into consideration local regulations, localization, and the competitive landscape.
Lead thorough market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, translating insights into actionable product strategy, features and improvements.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to align product development, marketing, and business management efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and customer-centric solutions.
Evaluate growth options, assess new opportunities, and identify bottlenecks. This includes turning strategy into cross-functional aligned tactics.
Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products that cater to our customers’ needs.
Effectively communicate the product strategy, progress, and results to executive leadership, stakeholders, and the wider organization.
Build and grow exceptional talent by hiring, onboarding, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Maintain a solid pulse on market trends and conduct ongoing evaluations of relevant 3rd party offerings, to ensure our systems and processes are best-in-class.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching and scaling successful products, specifically within the Middle Eastern region.
Experience working in an international environment.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Experience working with the financial ecosystem in the Middle East, including banks, regulatory institutions, and industry influencers
Proven experience in business management, for example through managing a business unit and P&L - Advantage.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent understanding of local market dynamics, customer behavior, and cultural sensitivities within the Middle East.
Strong analytical, strategic, and coordination skills.
Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing talent and fostering a collaborative environment.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
