Our Sourcing Team provides support for regional and corporate project. We are in contact with local, regional and global finance and procurement teams. Our services include collecting and analyze company spent data and commercial sourcing management in order to achieve the best contractual conditions

Partner with the best

As a Sourcing Specialist you will manage the buying process for a given set of goods or services. You will apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.

As a Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for:

·       Placing and following -up on Purchase Orders (PO) and manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.

·       Handling the purchase requests for Direct and In-Direct materials or field services.

·       Managing vendor onboarding and amendments through supplier onboarding portal.

·       Collaborating with internal stake holders for Purchase Order fulfilment and supplier payments.

·       Exploring synergy opportunities within Baker Hughes Product companies.

·       Identifying and executing the cost out opportunities partnering with cross functional team - Inquiry to Order(ITO), Projects, Services and Engineering to meet / exceed business goal.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

·       Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma)

·       Have 3+ years’ experience in Indirect and Direct sourcing with focus on working with supply chain and site services knowledge.

·       Experience in Fulfillment of purchase requisitions

·       Familiar with ERP systems

·       Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and suppliers

Desired Characteristics:

·       Be proficient in MS Office, SAP, and SAP Ariba.

·       Proficiency in using vendor management tools like HICX.

·       Demonstrate excellent analytical skills.
