Job description
Repton Al Barsha is seeking to recruit an outstanding Student Accounts Supervisor for an immediate start.
Job Purpose:
This position performs accounting and cashier duties and is primarily responsible for the delivery of a smooth collections service, ensuring fiscal recordkeeping is in order.
Main duties & responsibilities: *
Handle Front Office cashier responsibilities including liaise with Parents
Handle petty cash and monitor staff advances and ensure their adjustment with monthly salary
Verify accuracy of fees with admissions and then prepare Fee Invoices and ensure their receipt by customers
Prepare VAT information at the school level within the prescribed deadlines.
Analyze the effectiveness of collections procedures and policies and recommend improvements on same
Handle all escalations by parents on fee related enquiries and respond to them within 2 working days
Closing of month end accounts and the preparation of the trial balance till such time the accounts closing is completely centralized.
Assist the Group Finance Manager and team to ensure internal/external audits are smooth and complete with minimum delays

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should be semi-qualified accountant/B.Com/M.Com with around 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role. Services industry exposure would be an added advantage
Good technical skills and accounting conceptual clarity
Good ERP knowledge and Excel skills, working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint; working knowledge of AX ERP would be a plus
Attention to detail and ability to multitask and work under pressure with deadlines
Excellent communication skills
