RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead coordination workshops internally with internal stakeholders and externally with Consultants and Contractors.
Review the engineering design documents, including drawings, Specifications, BOQs
and others.
Good understanding of Authorities and utilities agencies technical requirements and process for obtaining NOCs and design approvals for Marine Work and Structure works.
The capability of reviewing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines shop drawings (i.e., Arch., Structural & MEP documents) to confirm full coordination and inter-disciplines check.
Strong capability to review Shop drawings, Pre-qualifications, Material Submittal and MSRA for Marine Work submissions and Structure works submissions.
Ensuring all design documents are compliant with government and authorities’ regulations & internal & external Stakeholders' requirements for Marine design submissions and Structure design submissions.
Daily & weekly reporting of work and progress & updates to Project managers.
Review all inspection requests including but not limited to: WIRs, MIRs, MARs, etc. prior to release back to Contractor.
Ensure that quality deliverables, timely manner submissions, and projects scope requirements are
successfully met.
Familiarity with the market best practices, common and up-to-date materials & systems.
Conduct site visits and quality audits on the construction activities.
Supervise and manage site inspectors to ensure fully compliance with QHSE requirements.
Work on other tasks assigned by management as necessary.
Communicate effectively & efficiently internally & externally forms themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.

Sustainability knowledge (Estidama Pearl Rating or LEED certification) will be an advantage.
Should have experience with using FE softwares (mainly STAAD Pro, SAP, Auto-Cad, Idea statica) and anchor bolt calculation software (HILTI Profis, Fischer Fisexcperiance etc)
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or any related discipline, with strong technical background.
+10 years of experience in Structural and Marine works as contractor and consultant, in the GCC, preferably UAE
Experience in Complex Marine Projects is not required; the scope of work is simple; secant pile wall & precast concrete deck on marine steel piles
Abu Dhabi Municipality registered engineers are required.
Experience in AutoCAD software, and basic understanding of BIM technology and utilization of Revit & BIM360 platforms.
