JOB TITLE RETAIL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
REPORTING TO MANAGING DIRECTOR
LOCATION DUBAI
MAIN PURPOSE
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Retail Manager is in charge of supervising and developing the retail teams and their activities as well as their performance in line with the Maison strategy.
KEY REPONSIBILITIES
RETAIL STRATEGY
In collaboration with the Managing Director, he/she will build the retail commercial strategy in the region.
Contributes to the yearly business plan and business reviews.
In charge of monitoring the Boutique P&L and reaching the financial targets.
RETAIL PERFORMANCE
Support and manage the Boutiques to achieve the sales target and business growth.
Analyse the boutique's KPI's and identify priority actions to achieve targets and business growth.
Analyse along with the Btq manager the sales performance and individual sales performance.
Develop along with the Mkt department action plans to boost sales.
Implement New retail strategies and tools.
Provide leadership to boutique managers: in store presence and coaching in collaboration with the training department.
Explore and develop out of Boutique business in order to increase traffic and business.
Participate in the identification, assessment and follow up of network projects (boutique openings, closings, renovations).
CRM AND CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Develop and adapt in collaboration with the CRM department a client strategy focusing on recruiting new clients and retaining existing ones.
Ensure an outstanding client experience.
Diffuse a client centric mindset within the teams and ensure the client KPIs are achieved.
RETAILIZATION
For external Boutique, ensure the implementation of the brand strategy and monitor the sales situation (SI, SO, replenishment, stock).
Retailization of each external boutique making sure the standards of the brand are achieved.
Monthly meeting with retailers, including sales report preparation and analysis.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
Business degree. At least 8 years’ experience in the luxurious retail industry or high end hospitality. Boutique manager experience is a strong plus.
Strong experience in managing and developing teams.
Exceptional sales skills and expert in client relationship development.
Strong background in developing and managing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
Client centric and strong understanding of the retail client experience required.
Strong display of emotional intelligence.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, follow up and problem-solving skills required.
Autonomous and pro-active with a “get-it-done” results-driven attitude.
Effective team player, collaborative approach.
Proven to be resilient
Proficiency in English. Arabic not mandatory but is a key advantage.
Ability to travel in the region.
