About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding Psychology Teacher to join our team at GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail for September 2024.

As a cognitive science driven school, evidence-informed practice is at the heart of what we do, and we seek educators who can passionately articulate what outstanding learning and teaching looks like and translate this into practice in the classroom.

Successful candidates will need to:
Embody and contribute to our three pillars
Hold a Bed or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent and have experience of teaching Psychology to A Level
Have a willingness to collaborate and share their outstanding practice
Have a growth mindset, whereby they are reflective and solution focused
Be creative and enthusiastic in their approach to teaching
Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.
Please note:
If you are keen to be potentially considered for roles within our schools beginning in September 2024, we are very interested in organising a call with you. GEMS Education will be visiting the UK (London and Manchester) in October 2023, giving candidates the opportunity to interview in person for the next academic year, September 2024.
Date and location will be confirmed upon successful invitation to interview - please state your preferred location (London or Manchester) to interview in your covering letter. This will be a closed event and by invitation only.
