Job Purpose
To Lead and provide centralised ownership and accountability for defining and implementing unified cargo processes across the dnata network globally.
Job Outline:
Plan
- Defines and agrees to the Unified Business Processes baseline for One dnata globally.
- Defines the Cargo Management Systems (CMS) product solution to ensure alignment with the Unified Business Processes, including regional specific (localisation) requirements.
- Plans and manages the end to end Business Processes & Product ensuring Regional/International requirements are not compromised. Ensure that Business Continuity recommendations are incorporated.
- Influences Key stakeholders, department heads and process experts from across the dnata network for effective implementation of redesigned processes making recommendation for long and short term benefits.
- Creates a global process & product review board to facilitate the ongoing change management of the baselined processes and product. Lead discussions on changes required and finalise a process for raising these with vendors
- Identifies and proposes to Change Manager UAE potential change impact areas/processes.
Lead
- Leads and defines business processes to reflect new operational and technology working methods.
- Establishes and leads a team of subject matter experts with appropriate skills and representations from across the dnata global network to ensure the management of the unified processes and the solution definition and alignment reflects the One dnata vision for unification but is also reconciled with any regional requirements that may need to persist (where such requirements have been reviewed and deemed to be valid).
- Streamlines plans and leads system enhancements, conceptualises and conducts system solution workshops to ensure maximum integration between existing systems without impacting the Unified Processes/Product and reducing duplication/redundant activities.
- Co-ordinates with respective Vendors to ensure Product encompasses Unified Process requirements ensure testing is signed off by respective Process/Product experts (UAE & International representatives).
- Monitors, coaches, and mentors the one dnata team representatives across stations and provide regular feedback.
Execute
- Manages and facilitates the ongoing development of Unified Business Processes for One dnata through continuous review of operational practices and processes to identify efficient, practical and productive ways of performing activities and conducting business.
- Ensures sufficient usage analysis and KPI monitoring techniques are implemented to measure success and business improvement with the implementation of the new product.
- Conducts global process/product review sessions, and continuously monitors and modifies process changes due to people, commercial policing, and change in handling agreements, policy/industry changes, facility upgrades, or technology advances, maintaining Process Integrity across stations.

- Collates the outputs of the process/product review boards and feed these into the overall product strategy assisting Business Leads in creating a product roadmap.
- Supports Business Change Management initiatives to ensure Process/Product acceptance and implementation in the UAE.
- Represents dnata at the User Forum. Champion strategic initiatives and product changes that are aligned to dnata strategy or otherwise benefit dnata.
- Collaborates with potential partners to further develop relationships that capitalise on seamless data exchange enhancing data transparency as well as bring in additional cost savings in messaging aspects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Aviation OR Airport operations or information technology.
- Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience as a Cargo Business Systems Analyst/Architect or similar roles with strengths in gathering requirements, configuration and testing.
- Strong and in-depth Cargo industry knowledge in terms of systems, processes and legislations (local and international).
- Active Project Management Professional certification.
- Ability to quickly understand requirements and related business issues.
- Results-oriented with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven attention to detail with higher level problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
