Inventory & Distribution Manager
At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for an experienced Inventory & Distribution Manager who can join our multicultural team in Dubai, UAE.
Role and responsibilities
Jebel Ali site management:
• Security, HSE and Housekeeping for the Jebel Ali facility
• Maintaining our relationship with OSC management
Inventory Planning:
• Working with Sales teams across SI to create forecasts
• Managing SAP parameters to give an optimal level of stock availability whilst minimizing working capital
• Reporting SI inventory levels against agreed targets
• Reporting on E&O inventory against agreed targets
Purchasing:
• Managing the process from PR creation by MRP until PO’s are issued to suppliers
• Reporting supplier leadtime and on-time delivery performance
• Taking the lead with any quality problems identified
Warehouse Management:
• Managing the Cycle Counting program and maintaining stock accuracy > 98%
• Ensuring we have sufficient space, equipment and manpower to meet forecast volumes
Distribution:
• Managing the process from DN creation to loading of outgoing shipments
• Communication with customers for Logistics arrangements
• Measurement of OTD
• Reporting expected shipments against budget / forecast. Any other duties as required.
Profile:
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience (inventory management, warehousing, purchasing, distribution), or graduate with minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years management / supervisor experience with excellent Team and Communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of ERP / MRP, preferably SAP
• Data driven, with excellent knowledge of Excel
• Oil & Gas products / markets an advantage
