The Team
A&M’s Tax practice is made up of experienced tax professionals dedicated to providing customized tax advice to clients and investors across a broad range of industries. Since the launch of the practice, the global tax team at A&M has enjoyed exponential growth. We are now over 1200 professionals across the globe, and we are now looking to further continue this growth in in the Middle East.
The Middle East Tax Practice was established just over a year ago and is now a team of over 45 highly talented individuals from 17 different nationalities, making them not only highly skilled, but also truly diverse. We take a truly holistic approach to the market, offering expertise across a diverse range of services—from Domestic and International Tax Services, Transfer Pricing, Tax Compliance Services, Global Transaction Tax, VAT Services, People Services and Tax Transformation.

The Role
We are looking for an Associate - Corporate Tax (i.e. equivalent to an Assistant Manager in Big 4 firms) for our growing team to be based in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi. This role will give you unique career opportunities in one of the fastest growing tax practices.
The successful candidate will support a diverse portfolio of Corporate Tax Advisory and Tax Compliance Services, ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax (CT) and related regulations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions to national and international clients across various industries.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
Prepare corporate tax advice on a range of domestic and international topics for senior team review.
Provide ongoing tax consulting and support clients through the entire tax lifecycle, including tax returns, assessment reviews, appeals, and audits (the role is expected to be approximately 50% consulting and 50% compliance).
Assist in liaising with tax authorities and preparing documentation for appeals and dispute resolution.
Assist during tax audits by gathering and organizing the required documentation.
Analyze tax regulations to address complex national and international tax law queries.
Ensure accurate monitoring and review of tax compliance processes.
Prepare / review tax computations and calculations for current and deferred taxes.
Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.
The Requirements
We would expect the successful candidate to bring:
A high-grade bachelor’s degree (or equivalent/higher) from an accredited top-tier university in tax law, tax economics, tax accounting, finance, business, economics, or a similar discipline is essential;
Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Tax Advisor, tax focused LLM, Advanced Diploma in International Taxation or a similar internationally recognized accounting, tax or finance qualification;
Minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in corporate tax and/or tax advisory in a Big 4 tax advisory and/or a boutique tax firm is essential, ideally some of this within the Middle East region;
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills;
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills;
Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines;
Analytical skills and precise working methods;
Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills;
High motivation to learn and grow; and
Fluency in English is essential. Arabic skills are preferable.
