The Program Manager is a key driver of strategic initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's objectives and goals. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and overseeing performance management systems to evaluate and enhance initiative outcomes. The Program Manager works closely with senior leadership to provide insights, track progress, and ensure continuous improvement.
Job description & Responsibilities:
Initiative Coordination & Execution: Lead and manage cross-functional teams to successfully execute strategic initiatives on time and within scope. Align initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring they contribute effectively to the company’s overall vision.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and implement performance management frameworks, including KPIs, to assess the success of initiatives. Create detailed reports that provide actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership to drive improvements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for optimization. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance initiative performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Leadership & Support: Provide guidance and training to teams to ensure effective performance. Offer support in building team capabilities, focusing on initiative management and performance evaluation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders, delivering comprehensive analyses, reports, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
Managing Dependencies: Oversee the identification and resolution of dependencies between initiatives, projects, and business operations. Ensure alignment across teams to meet strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in managing strategic initiatives, performance management, or project management, preferably in public or governmental sectors.
Professional certifications in Portfolio Management (PIMP), Project Management (PMP), or Performance Management (KPI-P) or Balanced Scorecard (BSC-P) are preferred.
Expertise in initiative coordination, performance measurement, and large-scale project management.
Advanced strategic planning skills with a deep understanding of performance indicators, project management methodologies, and program delivery.
Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior management and stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office and project/program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Native Arabic speaker or Saudi National preferred, with a strong understanding of local culture, national priorities, and regional dynamics
