Core accountabilities
Plan and execute Parkour DXB’s social media strategies to meet the business’s goals.
Attend events to produce live social media content and document Parkour DXB’s main activities.
Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Assist in the creation of posters and displays to be used within Parkour DXB’s branches.
Adapt to the needs of the business within a small dynamic marketing team.

Demonstrate knowledge of popular social media platforms’ requirements and trends.
Create engaging social media content for each platform (video, photos, graphic design), including paid social media marketing.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create a social media calendar.
Interact with Parkour DXB’s followers via comments, messages, reposts, etc.
Review platform analytics to monitor performance across each platform towards Parkour DXB’s goals.
Attend events to produce live social media content and document Parkour DXB’s main activities
Be open to working in any of Parkour DXB’s branches in order to create content.
Communicate confidently and directly with other members of staff as required in order to gather photo and video content
Post social media stories to tell a comprehensive story of an event or class
Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels
Ensure that all content is produced within our brand guidelines and brand voice.
Able to maintain Parkour DXB’s identity whilst ensuring content is produced specifically to what performs well on each platform.
Assist in the creation of posters and displays to be used within Parkour DXB’s branches
Demonstrate proficiency in basic design software, such as Canva, to produce promotional materials in both physical and digital formats within Parkour DXB’s branches.
Demonstrate experience with Photoshop & Indesign (desirable).
Adapt to the needs of the business within a small dynamic marketing team
Take on project-based work and/or increased responsibilities over time (desirable).
Familiarity with WordPress based websites is desirable.

Parkour DXB is on a mission to improve the lives of its students one jump at a time. We believe parkour has so much to offer young people and we need your help to expand and improve our social media presence to attract new students to our parkour facilities in Dubai.

You will need to be passionate about social media and have an ongoing interest in current trends and strategies to help bring parkour to more young people.
We will expect you to take initiative and be decisive where necessary. You will be expected to work independently, while also working closely with the Marketing Team towards the shared goals of Parkour DXB. We will also expect you to be accountable for your tasks and responsibilities, with the humility to take ownership for your mistakes and to ask for help when you need it.
As a small but fast-growing company, we need someone who can adapt to the dynamic nature of the work and their role, with a flexible and ‘can-do’ attitude in the face of challenges. You will need to be both confident in working independently and happy to work collaboratively.
What you will do
As Parkour DXB’s Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of our social media strategies to enable more young people to benefit from our services. You will work alongside the other members of our small marketing team and will have the opportunity to contribute to our overall marketing strategies and efforts.
You will be the creator of most, if not all, of the content to be posted on our social media channels. Therefore you will spend the majority of your time collecting images and video and editing them into platform-specific and brand-relevant content. You must have experience and be efficient with the software tools necessary to do so.
Parkour DXB is currently active on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Youtube and we are looking to increase both the quality and quantity of what we are posting on these platforms. You will need to be proactive in your understanding of the platforms we are currently using and any platforms we may join in the future.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that our followers are responded to promptly and appropriately and, where possible, converted into leads that can be converted to customers in the future.
You will need to be familiar with each platform’s reporting tools to ensure that our strategies are proving effective and that engagement is growing within our target audience. You will be required to produce regular reports to the Sales & Marketing Director to assess the performance of our marketing campaigns.
You will be required to work across Parkour DXB’s multiple locations throughout each week to ensure all locations and events are covered. You will also need to coordinate with other members of the Parkour DXB team to assist in the gathering of daily content from each location. Owning a valid driving licence would be desirable.
In addition to creating content for social media, you will be required to create posters, advertisements and digital display content.
You will need to maintain clear, effective and ongoing communication with all staff: your colleagues in other branches; other teams and departments such as Sales, Customer Service and Coaching; and the Sales & Marketing Director, and other members of management.
You may be assigned other tasks or projects within the scope of your skills and interests and the needs of the company.
You will be expected to represent Parkour DXB positively, keeping a clean and tidy working environment, behaving at all times in a professional manner and embodying the company’s values and culture to your colleagues and all customers you interact with.
Salary & Benefits
Parkour DXB is offering a Salary between AED 3000 – AED 4000 for an initial 6-month internship period.
You must provide your own visa during this period.
Should you excel in the role, a full-time employment and all its associated benefits may become available to you.
