Job Summary
The Business Developer's role is to identify and develop new business for J.P. Morgan offshore entities and lead new client acquisition in Dubai through a broad knowledge of JPMorgan’s robust platform. A broad knowledge of JPMorgan’s robust platform is required even though the Business Developer will not provide advice about JPM services and capabilities. The Business Developer will develop strategies to identify new prospects and will coordinate with the relevant offshore advisor team the most efficient way to approach the prospect arranging the introductory meeting.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify sources of new business, acquire leads for the Private Bank businesses and assist the team to bring on board new clients and assets.
Work closely with the different lines of business including J.P. Morgan Investment Bank
Prospect, profile, and refer suitable prospects to an offshore J.P. Morgan Private Bank legal entities using a team approach
Partner with the Middle East offshore team and create referral strategies that will lead to new business growth
Act as the local representative of J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Dubai
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Be a self-starter with high energy, drive and a high degree of self-motivation to ensure the continued growth of the business
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strategic relationships across teams and corporate levels with the ability to influence
Possess a wide network of contacts and a good reputation
Possess an extensive knowledge of the Wealth Management industry and an experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
An extensive background of sales success, particularly managing sales success through others
Be proactive and creative: use sound judgment and navigate ambiguity to get things done
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Have a real passion and understanding of all parts to sales and commercial process
Be able to work both independently and as a team player
Exceptionally organized
Bilingual (English and Arabic), additional languages are a plus
Strong local network in Dubai
Extensive experience in Private Banking working with UHNW families
