The Manager HR Operations and ER is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees. that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The role’s mission is to integrate the human resource operation function with business activities to provide value to the employees as well as leading and participating as required in HR working groups involved in the implementation and raising awareness of HR policies and procedures to improve the employee’s engagement and wellbeing.
HR Operations:
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR teams to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations in Dubai and ROW.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Review and Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Ensure conducting Onboarding process effectively in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Ensure to get all related documents to manage the VISA /Wok permit process issuing ahead of time.
- Record and maintain new employees’ files and documents.
- Manage Employees’ Claims on a monthly basis.
- Issuing employee’s letters.
- Conducts weekly/monthly meetings with respective business units.
Employee Relations:
- Seek to add value to the company by offering advice and assistance to all new and current employees.
- Establish, maintain, and foster good relationships between the company and employees, to boost the wellbeing of employees.
- Manage, monitor and control all company employee’s attendance and leave through the attendance system and HRIS leave management system (HCM).
- Manage the data accuracy on HCM and employees’ profiles and ensure the data is up to date on monthly basis.
- Insure the proper Follow up of employees’ requests and reply to their inquiries and complaints on a timely manner (HR helpdesk, emails).
- Manage the Employee’s medical, life, and PA insurance policy and participate in the yearly tendering process.
- Involve in multiple aspects of the business, including production statistics, employee data status and other projections.
- Respond to complex queries and manage all aspects of issues across the employee lifecycle such as disciplinaries, PIP processes, redundancies, and support the HR leadership with new projects.
- Conduct adequate internal communication about HR Business Partnering with line managers of all divisions, though the scheduled quarterly meetings and whenever there is business need.
- Take part in designing and executing social events to boost employee engagement and enhance work-life balance.
- Providing the necessary requested reports.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Minimum 4 Year bachelor’s degree in equivalent specialization (HR or Business Administration)
- English and additional language is an advantage.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations in UAE.
- Manager track record of 3+ years; with experience in HR/Business Administration.
- Worked across diverse cultures and geographies.
