Requirements

In this role you will have the opportunity:

• To showcase your organizational skills in a fast paced work environment

Your responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all HSE matters related with project team members and contractors in ensuring that the project is in compliance with the project requirement i.e. specification, safety code and other policies/guidelines related to the project.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• NEBOSH and OSHAD licences
• Knowledge and experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
• Strong personality
• Relevant work experience in construction
• Understand the work sequence (from excavation to handover)
• Communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded in Oracle System
• Prepare Material usage & wastage reports; activity-wise costing against BOQ/Budget
• Capturing all the actual cost incurred at all RIC sites. Analyze actual labor, material and overhead cost against standard/budget. Research and explain variances. Report this information to Head office on a weekly basis
• Running all cost control related operations on Oracle ERP system. All the analysis/estimates are also expected to be prepared in MS-Excel.
• Responsible for keeping proper records of site material stocks
• Responsible to send notification emails of Budget overruns & alarming EAC forecasts
• Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.
• Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
• Provide cost control advice to the internal project management team as and when required.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering – Civil

Desired Certifications/skills:

CCP (Certified Cost Professional)

Oracle – ERP Experience

Excellent in MS-Excel

Excellent in English communication skill- both written and spoken

Experience:

• 3-5 years of previous experience in a Construction and contracting company in UAE.

About the Role:

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC is seeking to hire a New Anchor to join our existing News Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The News Anchor will be responsible to interview newsmakers, write stories and dynamically deliver the news to the people of MENA region in a fair, balanced and concise manner.

Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:

• Delivers news from Teleprompter or scripts in an unbiased manner in speech and non-verbal communication.
• Delivers news in an impeccable Modern Standard Arabic.
• Delivers news in a distinctive style that will attract and retain viewers with a tone and voice quality that are authoritative yet conversational.
• Proofreads news and edit copy into his/her own reading style.
• Collaborates with production staff during the news production process.
• Maintains composure on-air and exhibits resiliency and responsiveness.
• Research and crafts probing questions for live interviews. 
• Actively participates in editorial meetings.
• Writes compelling, factually correct, creative stories for newscasts.
• Produces packages for special shows or newscasts when requested.
• Compliance with dress code and style book.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or broadcast journalism is preferred.
• 3-5 years news anchoring experience.
• Excellent Modern Standard Arabic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Knowledge and awareness of major news stories and developments in the MENA region.
• Demonstrated ability to interview newsmakers.
• Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule to support 24/7 news environment, including overnight coverage.
• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure.

About the Role:

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC is seeking to hire a News Producer to join our existing News Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The News Producer will be responsible for the creative development, production, content quality of assigned programs; constructing fresh, informative, creative, compelling newscasts, summaries, updates and assigned special event coverage, ensuring balanced content consist (consistent) with the mission goals of the company. 

Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:

 

• Coordinates with Head of News & Output Editor on selecting timely news material.
• Prepares format/rundown for newscast, summaries, updates or assigned special event coverage.
• Writes stories for assigned newscasts.
• Actively participates in editorial meetings.
• Reviews all script for assigned newscasts.
• Obtains legal and editorial clearances from Output Editor.
• Ensures that all additional production details are completed, including graphics, chyrons, etc.
• Provides Control Room with critical information regarding the timing, content and execution of live shots while program is on-air.
• Follows commands of Output Editor in the control room when breaking news is on the air.
• Aggressively pursue breaking news and assist Assignment Desk and other newscast producers during coverage of breaking news.
• Inputs and conducts final review of show content in video editing system to ensure a clean broadcast.
• Assigns and edits stories to Multimedia writers on the team.
• Contributes story ideas on a daily, weekly and long-range basis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or broadcast journalism preferred.
• 2-3 year of experience producing television newscasts.
• Excellent Arabic writing skills.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use video editing system.
• Ability to thrive in an environment requiring teamwork.
• Solid news judgment.
• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure.
• Exercise self-discipline and time-management skills.
• Sound editorial and creative judgment is essential.
