Location: Beta Care Hospital, Githunguri, Kiambu
Reporting to: Hospital Administrator / ICT Officer
Beta Care Hospital is a Level 4 healthcare facility committed to providing quality and affordable healthcare services. We are seeking a motivated ICT Intern to support the management of our Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) and provide general ICT support services.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supporting the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS)
- Provide basic computer support to staff (hardware, software, and user support)
- Assist with data entry, data quality checks, and report generation
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other ICT equipment
- Assist in basic network troubleshooting (LAN, internet connectivity)
- Support system backups, updates, and basic cybersecurity practices
- Provide user training and support on HMIS and common office applications
- Perform any other ICT-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
- Must have completed coursework and be eligible for internship attachment
- Knowledge of HMIS systems (e.g. DHIS2, OpenMRS, KenyaEMR) is an added advantage
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Resident within or near the hospital location is an added advantage
