What this role is:

The Sales Representative is a catalyst behind Genesys’ sales success and growth as an organization. As a consultative sales professional with strong career development ambitions in the solution sales space, you are responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from prospects and existing customers across different market segments.

 

In this role, you help solve the business needs of prospects and customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Genesys solutions. You will collaborate within a team to manage opportunities and customers relationships and are responsible for coordinating resources and managing the sales campaign across the entire opportunity pipeline.

 

What this role isn’t: 

 

It is not a “one-man band” role but you will be part of a dedicated team. Besides you as the Sales Representative, the typical account team includes a Sales Development Rep, a Solution Consultant, a Service Engagement Director, and a Customer Success Manager who are all there to help you close deals, keep our customers happy, loyal, and further growth. Your main goal is to convert as many opportunities into closed-won deals as possible.

As a Sales Development Representative, you fulfill a vital role of leveraging leads provided by Marketing and developing new opportunities on your own, handling all different kinds of sales scenarios and ultimately closing opportunities provided to them.

Some details about what you’ll do:

  • Connect client’s business objectives with Genesys offerings and solutions
  • Identify customer needs, create and articulate a strong value proposition
  • Understand and respond to customer objections effectively
  • Drive, orchestrate, negotiate and close sales campaigns successfully
  • Guide customer’s and prospect’s corporate strategic initiatives
  • Effectively sell a broad portfolio of products across a specific vertical
  • Assist the customer in maximizing the return of their investment with Genesys
  • Be proactive in all aspects of opportunity development
  • Build and expand relationships with the Economic Buyer in prospect and customer accounts
  • Establish yourself as a ‘Trusted Advisor’ to the prospect or customer
  • Bring net new and innovative ideas to both, the internal team and the customer
  • Assist in creating an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence (i.e. strong business acumen)
  • Partner with sales and additional pre-sales engagement members to align goals and ensure ongoing refinement

 

Minimum requirements

  • +3 years previous business-to-business SaaS Sales experience with a documented track record of success as a Sales Representative in a net new business role
  • Experienced in being part of numerous complex and consultative sales engagements, being proactive in leveraging the market potential in finding new opportunities
  • Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities
  • Highly persuasive with a likeability factor
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously and under time pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly resourceful when need to overcome barriers and objections
  • Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within customer/prospect’s organization
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Available to travel for up to 50% of the time
  • Enterprise software or contact center industry experience is a plus
