Senior Associate - Compliance- KPMG, Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION
On a daily basis, the role will be required to:
Support the team on ongoing compliance projects
Develop Compliance Obligation Registers
Research on various regulators in UAE (onshore and offshores)
Liaise with the clients as needed on ongoing projects
Education and skills required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Business or Accounting Degree from an internationally recognized higher education institution
3 to 5 years experience in regulatory compliance or a similar role and/or as licensed Compliance Officer/Compliance Counsel
Flawless communication skills in English and Arabic are essential
Accustomed to working with new and complex information
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Pragmatic and solution driven approach
Proficient with applicable database and compliance software
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Strong ethics and integrity
Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations / regulators in UAE
