Project Lead - IT Project Management Office- Qatar Airways
About Your responsibilities
As a Project Lead you will be responsible in defining and improving project governance, compliance framework and related processes.
We need you to lead the execution of periodic project audits in collaboration with IT Line of Businesses (LOBs), review QR IT projects and the related artefacts for compliance.
You will assist in defining & improving software engineering standards, best practices and guidelines that needs to be followed across QR IT.
You will report the findings of the compliance reviews with the LOBs and senior management and track action items for closure.
You will be working closely with the Internal Audit team and IT LOBs to plan and rollout audit recommendations as per the agreed IT action plan.
We need your experience in Identifying automation opportunities and effeciencies in governance and compliance process, evaluate solutions and lead the implementation.
You will be responsible in leading and delivering assigned IT Projects through the use of proven delivery methodologies (waterfall/agile) and tools.
Qualifications
About You
Bachelor Degree with minimum 5 years of job related experience
Good understanding of project management processes & best practices
Expertise in areas of project governance and compliance in an IT organization
Expertise in areas of delivering IT projects / applications using both traditional waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
Well versed with agile ways of working, delivering MVP and continuous improvement
Hands on experience in using project management tools like Project Online, Azure DevOps
Good customer facing and stakeholders management skills
