Lead Technical Architect - Ventures & Futures- KPMG, Dubai
Overview of role:
As a lead technical architect, you will work with a variety of stakeholders to design and implement solutions for our clients leveraging the solutions from startup ecosystem and small enterprises. You will lead a team of architects and will work with the startups to understand their technical solutions, conduct due diligence on the shortlisted solutions, architect the solutions together to solve client problems and deploy the solutions on the client environments. You will also work with the product team to ensure that the solutions are aligned with the product design and solve business problems for our customers.
Prior experience and skillset:
Should have a minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Previous Management Consulting experience is preferable. Experience leading technical teams is mandatory
Strong technical understanding (preferably engineering graduate in computer sciences, Information technology) and experience working in large system integration firms.
Experience in agile development, technical requirements detailing, enterprise architecture, complex program delivery.
Previous experience of application development and implementation using Microsoft Azure
Expertise in web or mobile app development, enterprise systems, integration, business modeling, database concepts and project management - preferably using Agile Development Methodologies
Experience in conducting workshops, training, and consulting engagements
Outstanding communication and relationship management skills - the ability to present and communicate to senior, high profile leaders in English
Key responsibilities
Master technical architecture design combined with modern software engineering practices to design and develop innovative web, mobile business applications and digital platforms
Understand the customers' IT architecture in order to clarify the strategic fit of startup solutions and technology with their IT ecosystem
Craft and deliver product presentations in alignment with product team and conduct solution demonstrations (both online and onsite) to our customers
Facilitate workshops with customers to understand their application portfolio and IT landscape
Architect multiple startup solutions together to design digital solutions for clients which is modular, scalable, flexible, interoperable and supports open integration
Analyze the customers' functional and technical requirements in order to design technical solutions
Conduct technical deep dive and architecture sessions
Executing Proof of Concepts with startups and customers
Design, build, test and deploy applications that provide business solutions and generate optimal business value leveraging the solutions from shortlisted startups
Work with the startup team to manage application design, development, enhancements, break-fixes, integrations, standard application changes and maintenance activities
Interact with clients, product owners, project manager / scrum master / tech lead, onsite and offshore development and QA teams, support teams and other cross-functional teams
Stay up-to-date on the technical advancements in startup ecosystem and help identify emerging technology and solutions to bring the best of global startup ecosystem to our customers
