Associate Director – M&A
The role will entail technical and operational leadership for the execution of multiple M&A transactions on a day-to-day basis while supporting the team's deal origination efforts
Responsibilities
Project manage transactions, drive the transaction timetable, ensuring quality on client deliverables and execution of live mandates throughout the whole transaction process
Assist in deal origination (pitches, RFPs, etc.) and lead the preparation of marketing materials
Manage counterparties and other advisers to ensure transaction milestones are met
Lead, develop and counsel junior colleagues
Education
Bachelors degree in Finance or related feilds (MBA and CFA preferable)
Required relevant experience
At least 7 years of experience in M&A advisory either in an Investment bank, Big 4 or boutique advisory firms
GCC experience or working in one of the mature markets
Mandatory previous M&A experience
Technical Skills
M&A, Business valuation, Financial modeling
Proficiency with Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills (oral & written English)
Proficiency in Arabic would be beneficial
Strong Leadership and team building skills
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
