Job Purpose:

Improve the EHS of employees by facilitating, monitoring, and ensuring the actual implementation of the EHS Management System on the shop floor and provide the guidance where needed.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • To provide EHS advice/guidance/coaching to the UAE team using different approaches (direct and support them to implement and comply with all EHS requirements in a sustainable manner).
  • To assist the EHS Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of the EHS policies and procedures.
  • Complete regular checks and inspections and prepare related reports.
  • Conduct behavioral safety observations and provide support to develop BS program.
  • Co-ordinate the implementation or conduct EHS trainings as identified by EHS manager.
  • Generate drivers’ behavior evaluation reports and communicate and follow up in timely manner.
  • Monitor compliance on the shop floor of the PPEs, KSBs, and SWPs and ensure addressing the immediate required actions to correct situation and escalate when/if needed.
  • Update safety logs/registers and file and control of all safety records.
  • Check and update all EHS communication means (monitors, Near Miss (NM) boards, signs, boards…etc.) and report/fix any in-correct situation (damage, outdate, missing form…etc.).
  • Active participation in the risk assessments, accident investigations, communication, planning, Reward and Recognition (R&R), Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP), monitoring, inspections and audits as assigned by the EHS MS or the EHS Manager.
  • Follow up with other departments to ensure EHS reports are done in due time including NM reports.
  • Follow up with all other departments on the completion of Corrective/Preventive Actions (C/PA) completion and provide support where necessary.
  • Design and obtain approvals of new forms, signs…etc.
  • Follow up on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) availability and timely replenishment.
  • Recognize and embrace positive behaviors and practices.
  • Any other actions or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager that is in line and supports the job main purpose.

Qualifications/Requirements

EXPERIENCE/COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED

  • Strong people management skills.
  • Problem solving and strong analytical thinking (root-cause analysis, setting action plans…etc.).
  • Self-starter able to work independently with a high degree of business savvy.
  • Experience and knowledge of EHS applicable legislations.
  • Excellent Planning & Organizing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presenting skills and the ability to engage with and influence the behaviours of others internally and externally without direct reporting relationship.
  • Recognised EHS qualification; preferably NEBOSH IGC3.
  • Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages and literacy in computer usage.
  • Ability to coach and support others to ensure requirements understood/met.

 Genome is looking for a Sales Account Manager based Dubai to service the Mid-Enterprise market segment. To be eligible for this role you need to have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an MBA and a proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of Solutions/Networking Sales Experience Mid-Enterprise market.

 

Role & Responsibilities

 

  • Meeting quarterly targets and objectives
  • Developing a strong sales plan including both existing and potential customers.
  • Driving revenues through new account and project acquisition
  • Forecasting and track key account metrics
  • Providing customers with pricing and work closely with the technical teams to devise technical solutions as per client expectations and requirement
  • Build customer relationships for the purpose of business development and sales
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction, evaluation, plans, and follow through
  • Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in specific market
  • Drive strategy and growth initiatives within the key verticals
  • Work with other sales leaders to identify and develop opportunities and drive growth
  • Prior commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contractual agreements is preferred

 The Role:

You will work with the Store Manager to achieve objectives, ensuring the highest levels of customer service are provided by staff and that they have the skills and support required to maximise sales. You will work with a variety of different departments to maintain the effective operation of the store and will provide feedback to the store, brand and area managers around staff and products.
