Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Social Media Officer to produce engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms. The role involves developing creative concepts, managing photography and videography, editing visual content, and coordinating with stakeholders to support the brand’s social media strategy. This position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring flexibility and creativity to deliver impactful storytelling across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and produce social media content across all formats, including Reels, TikTok, YouTube (short and long form), and other emerging platforms.
• Capture and edit high-quality video footage that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Develop and execute creative campaigns to enhance brand presence and engagement across social media platforms.
• Cover events and produce compelling storytelling content using professional tools such as cameras, GoPros, Insta360, and mobile devices.
• Conduct competitor analysis and monitor social media trends to identify innovative content opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between creative output and brand strategy.
• Support additional operational or creative tasks as required by the line manager.

Skills

• Proficient in video editing and content creation tools, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut.
• Skilled in photography, cinematography, and digital storytelling.
• Strong creative thinking, visual communication, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with agility and professionalism.
• Excellent coordination and collaboration skills in a team-driven environment.
• Flexibility to work on varying schedules, including weekends and short-notice assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social media content creation.
• Experience in the travel industry or with a social media agency is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute visually engaging campaigns across multiple social media platforms.
• This is a 6-month contract based in Qatar
