JOB PURPOSE

Explain in one or two sentences the primary reason why this job exists.

Build and develop the connected cars services’ infrastructure to support the realisation of the CCS revenue. 

Work on Business development with key partners (MNOs, 3rd Parties in the field of B2B, B2B2C & B2C) to initiate new services infrastructure and revenue opportunities

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Key responsibilities of the job, and key KPIs, this may include any project / budget or team management responsibilities and the extent of inter-departmental collaboration where applicable.

3.1 Principle Responsibilities

Develop and implement the connected car strategy for the organization.

Lead the CCS market mapping, segmentation, sizing for GCC and propose a strategic roadmap for Nissan in the chosen region (L/MTP) – update on a yearly basis

Main point of contact for Region / country specific development & partners. 

PMO to deliver B2B and B2B2C services as planned by business and planning teams (e.g. SVT, RCI)

E2E PMO ownership for partner integration - focusing on Local interface with business, engineering and suppliers

Business development activities to identify and grow new types of connected car services, programs, and platforms.

Identify new opportunities with suppliers and partners to accelerate achievement of connectivity goals

Collaborate with global Nissan and Alliance groups on new business and financial areas

Responsible for developing the infrastructure and contracts of new programs that deliver internal benefits from connectivity to Nissan (PMO for supplier integration)

Specify data requirements to support services and then conduct data analysis on connected car data to achieve strategic and tactical activities

Consult, lead, and teach other internal teams to improve their business operations by using connected vehicle information and data

Coordinate with respective teams to develop APP strategy for NissanConnect APP in the region with clear features, roadmap and responsibilities

Laydown ideas into business canvas and transform them to real business opportunities

3.2 Applicable KPIs

Functional KPIs :

Launch successfully of CCS in specified markets

2 or more service ideas to become real business opportunities

Billing and Subscription platform launch in specified markets

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Minimum requirements necessary to fulfil the duties of the job.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors/Masters degree (In business will be a plus)

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

At least 7-10 years experiences in Automotive, tech, service development or business development.

Must Have experience:

Business development and marketing principles.

Service development/ delivery with proven track record

Project management with cross functional collaboration

Automotive industry and its standards

Good understanding of:

Connected car technologies, such as telematics, infotainment, and autonomous driving.

Data analysis & aggregation

Data Monetization

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS BEHAVIOURS & SKILL SET:

Logical thinking

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently (autonomous) and as part of a team.

Excellent communication (negotiation) skill

Self-motivated & driven

Problem solving with debugging skills

Information analysis

Time schedule management

Presentation skills (include presentation making)
