Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Engineer – Environmental Impact Assessment with extensive experience in the Upstream / Downstream specifically in Operations, Construction, Petrochemicals and Refinery industry. Successful candidate must be responsible to
Perform technical review and endorsement of the of the Environmental Impact Assessment Studies
Conduct environmental screening and ensure appropriate baseline assessments related to groundwater, soil, air quality
Participate in HAZID and ENVID workshops to provide technical input on environmental risk assessments
Evaluate BAT Assessments and manage the environmental performance monitoring for projects
Ensure implementation of Pollution, Prevention and Controls (PPC), Waste Management and Air Quality requirements in projects design and operations
Skills / Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with HSE related specialization or equivalent discipline
Minimum Experience, Knowledge and Skills
10 years of experience in HSE, Environmental Impact Assessment studies for projects or operational requirements, performance assessments and other Environmental (HSE) management functions in a similar position in the oil and gas industry
Experience in all or at least one of the following fields: Upstream / Downstream specifically in Operations, Construction, Petrochemicals and Refinery is preferred on HSE matters
