 Job Description

 

Writes patient nursing care plans. Implements plans through tasks such as preparing patients for operations, wound treatment and monitoring vital signs. Sets up of infusions and blood transfusions. Acts   as patient advocate by making ethical decisions related to consent and confidentiality. Communicates with and relieves the anxiety of patients and their relatives. Responds appropriately to emergencies. Identifies the activities of daily living, appropriately plans, implements, and evaluates physical and psychological care. Reports incident and complaints to Senior Nursing Personnel on duty. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates midwifery care that is evidence based, incorporates every woman’s unique needs, expectations, lifestyle and cultural background. Ensures that care within the facility is performed in accordance with established corporate and hospital policies and procedures and international standards. Ensures clinical resources and continuity of care during her hours of duties. Undertakes additional tasks as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

 

BSC/ or equivalent in nursing or Midwifery Eligible for DHA Licensing
