Role Summary

As our Rider Acquisition and Partnership Manager, you will improve and develop the different models for talabat Oman to acquire new rider supply through freelance and/or new/current partnerships. You are responsible for the vision of Oman logistics’ rider supply (3PL, Government Entities and other corporate organizations). You will oversee talabat’s framework for contracting, managing, and auditing our partners and you will develop new alternative logistics partnerships by building such relationships.

What’s On Your Plate?

  • Build, maintain and own a strong relationship with all key partners (3PLs, Government entities and other corporate organizations) across Talabat Oman in liaison with regional and local guidelines.
  • Develop a strategy for Talabat Oman’s engagement with our logistics partners, including commercial strategy, contract management and key negotiations.
  • Standard setting and driving compliance of our partners, through contract management and audits that is aligned with Talabat Rules to increase rider loyalty.
  • Develop a strong community including of the local rider management teams, to ensure quality of standards, experience, and adherence to regional and local processes.
  • Implement the infrastructure, technology and processes required for large scale onboarding of riders.
  • Develop and implement best practices for rider acquisition via various acquisition channels and marketing in the region.
  • Build, maintain and partially own strong relationships with all 3PL partners across the country.
  • Build a trusting relationship that allows exchange of information and best practices across cities.
  • Ensure sufficient data is shared to allow for educated directions and improvements in performance.
  • Create right incentives and/or penalties for 3rd parties to improve rider performance and well-being.
  • Ensure rider safety and well-being are top priority for 3rd parties along with solid measures and tools are in place.
  • Be the voice of the 3rd party to Talabat: Listen to the challenges and find solutions within internal team.
  • As required, liaising with authorities and regulators in the different markets to represent Talabat Oman delivery ecosystem, shape discussions and create opportunities for the industry in alignment with Talabat’s regional and local guidelines.

What Did We Order?

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Preferably you gained 2+ years of work experience in high growth startups, tech companies or consulting
  • Strong Excel and data management skills
  • You are a doer and a free thinker. You accept and adapt constantly to change
  • Willing to question the status quo when needed
  • Team player. We are looking for someone who fits the team and the company culture
  • Make it happen attitude, where results are ensured to be achieved regardless of all the obstacles
  • Experience in contracting and compliance management of service providers
  • Great at networking, relationship building and developing winning partnerships
  • Affinity with (labour) law and liaison with authorities is a plus
  • Strong commitment to enforcing standards and compliance
  • Can demonstrate leadership and authority with our partners
  • Hands-on, enjoys fact-finding and going beyond theoretical frameworks 
  • Extremely organized and process-driven
  • Can manage a heavy workload effectively by setting priorities and managing expectations well
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic.
