Your role

• focus on the Wealth Management business, supporting them in managing risk;
• provide advice to local management and staff;
• perform risk assessments;
• prepare regulatory reports;
• deal with internal and external information requests;
• perform second-line-of-defense controls;
• track regional rule changes and regulatory developments and
• train employees.

Your team
You'll be working in the MENA C&ORC team, a small team based in the Dubai International Financial Centre. The team covers all the UBS offices in the MENA region: Dubai, Riyadh, Doha and Manama. The business covered is Wealth Management, Global Family Office – Corporate & Institutional, Investment Bank and Asset Management. The business is booked abroad, including in Switzerland and Singapore.
Your expertise
For this exciting and challenging role, we seek someone with:
• a university degree;
• relevant experience in a compliance, risk control, risk management or audit function;
• knowledge of Wealth Management, its structures and products;
• strong oral and written communication skills
You are:
• analytic, accurate, structured;
• able to provide practical solutions, minimizing risk;
• result-oriented;
• assertive and pro-active;
• comfortable working independently, as well as enjoying collaborating with colleagues;
• responsible and professional;
• fluent in English.
