Overview of the role

Sales account managers will be responsible for developing, identifying and creating new sales opportunities. He will be customer’s primary point of contact. He will be responsible for meeting revenue goals for an assigned book of accounts.

What you will do

Identify and target new customers with new sales opportunities.

Develop brand image and prequalify brand with industry consultants

Initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the Division

Achieve targeted orderbook, gross margin, revenue, and unit sales target through effective sales process management, increasing customer retention and efficient sales development strategy.

Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the key consultants and contractors within the construction industry.

Proactively managing customer requirements for on-time delivery considering lead-times, product specification changes and customer demand.

Ability to manage every element (including but not limited to estimation, preparation/submission of quotation, negotiation, submission/approval of shop drawings/ technical submittals) of the sales process on an individual level as well as a team.

Collecting market data and perform analysis for lost projects

Acts as a primary point-of-contact for customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction

Manage and maintain relationship with the customers

To maximize profit opportunity

Generate and maintain credible sales forecast for accounts and provide this information on regular basis to management

Required Skills to be successful

Possess UAE Driving License.

Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency

Self-motivated with skills to motivate others

Strong verbal and written communication skill

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Engineering Degree or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

. 5-8 plus years of experience

Responsibilities:

Coordinates/Owns account plans on one/multiple commercial accounts.

Focuses on deals/opportunities and value and/or volume portfolio management and selling a range of HP products and solutions.

Uses specialty to leverage existing opportunities in account.

Establishes a professional working relationship with the IT organization at the clients and develops a core understanding of the unique business needs.

Analyses and understands of win/loss results for owned accounts.

Works with and leverages external partners to deliver solution sales.

Utilizes the support of pre- sales and specialists, and depending on account coverage with inside sales to participate in or lead deal pursuit.

Refers HP volume products and certain value products to other specialists or partners as needed.

Responsible for achieving/managing quota based on regional guidelines.

Enters and is accountable for all opportunities in pipeline tools and processes.

Ability to implement margin recovery activities/strategies in full ownership of the account or in partial ownership depending on account coverage.

Acts as a first interface for owned accounts in collaboration with members of global business teams.

May Train/Coach and lead Inside account reps/Inside Sales

Contributes to sales policy and strategy for assigned business segment.

Education and Experience Required:

University or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers on given products.

Typically, 1-3 years quota carrying tele sales experience.

Inside Account experience of large commercial of moderate to large complexity.

Knowledge and Skills:

IT awareness and entry level solution development capability.

Can differentiate between own offerings and what competitors offer using marketing information

Applies specialized knowledge to assess client's business and identify opportunities to extend current business in the account.

Work as a member of a team in providing support and giving input regarding account opportunities.

Ability to provide account planning support to sales team.

Negotiation skills and ability to frame the value proposition for the customer.

Product demonstration, customer training, and product installation skills.

Be able to utilize resources effectively in or order to pursuit revenue generating opportunities in the account.

Enough knowledge about product and services to be able to sell transactionally.

Ability to prioritize and drive strategic sales activity on a product and services basis.

Competitive selling skills.

As a successful business CMB UAE has a proven and sustainable long-term model that has remained profitable through the economic cycles.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Commercial Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Selection of Partnerships by identifying key areas of customer needs in the region where partnerships are required and working with global CMB partnership team on selecting third parties which are most relevant for the region

Proposition Development by working with select markets and product areas on gathering business appetite, customer recruitment, development of frontline and customer assets as well as monitoring of performance

Partnership origination and ongoing management; from identifying, selecting, testing, commercializing and monitoring 3rd party partnerships; leading the initial relationship with select partners, negotiating terms, measures of success, coordinating partnership execution and ongoing monitoring of performance

Partnership governance by working with risk stakeholders to on-board the partner in the region and follow the commercial banking new product governance process

Lead and assist with the training program for CMB MENAT staff by organizing training sessions and working with head of people excellence in MENAT as well as GCMB Sustainability learning lead. Help select relevant learning pathways and lessons and identify the targeted population to attend trainings.

Cultural Change by helping to embed sustainability as part of our DNA, creating an environment for knowledge and best practice sharing across regions and products, and foster a community of internal activists to affect change and support growth

Work with marketing team on runway of events, sending invites to relevant customers and ensuring content is relevant

Assist with case studies, speaking notes for panels and submission of success for relevant awards

Assist with any internal and external calls, ensuring that CMB sustainability narrative is well embedded in all relevant communication

Lead SF deal reporting by working with country champions to ensure pipeline and executed deals are correctly reflected is finance report and track progress against targets

Produce all relevant governance deck to ensure accurate representation of sustainability business

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Strong experience and background in a similar capacity.

A sound knowledge of the Corporate Banking business, including credit & lending, trade & payment products, services, systems and processes

Experience in front office will be advantageous

Experience in any of the following is required: project management, strategy, customer experience, business management

Knowledge in the field of Sustainability or Sustainable Finance including strong knowledge of the Group and CMB’s sustainability strategy, priorities and initiatives

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Track record of flexibility and adaptability in fluid environments of constantly changing priorities

Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
