Overview of the role
Sales account managers will be responsible for developing, identifying and creating new sales opportunities. He will be customer’s primary point of contact. He will be responsible for meeting revenue goals for an assigned book of accounts.
What you will do
Identify and target new customers with new sales opportunities.
Develop brand image and prequalify brand with industry consultants
Initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the Division
Achieve targeted orderbook, gross margin, revenue, and unit sales target through effective sales process management, increasing customer retention and efficient sales development strategy.
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the key consultants and contractors within the construction industry.
Proactively managing customer requirements for on-time delivery considering lead-times, product specification changes and customer demand.
Ability to manage every element (including but not limited to estimation, preparation/submission of quotation, negotiation, submission/approval of shop drawings/ technical submittals) of the sales process on an individual level as well as a team.
Collecting market data and perform analysis for lost projects
Acts as a primary point-of-contact for customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
Manage and maintain relationship with the customers
To maximize profit opportunity
Generate and maintain credible sales forecast for accounts and provide this information on regular basis to management
Required Skills to be successful
Possess UAE Driving License.
Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
Self-motivated with skills to motivate others
Strong verbal and written communication skill

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Engineering Degree or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
. 5-8 plus years of experience
Al Futtaim Engineering
The Engineering arm operates in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt providing a wide variety of products and services from air conditioning, scaffolding and access solutions, elevators and escalators, control and life safety, facilities management, building products, MEP, Energy Management, Technology Infrastructure and Digital Transformation.
The Technologies division provides complete business solutions to large, medium and small customers that include, contact centre solutions, business applications, business intelligence, data management, advanced analytics amongst others. The IT infrastructure portfolio comprises IP telephony, ELV systems, networking solutions, professional audio-visual solutions and managed services.
These solutions are further complemented by services that include project management, installation, testing, commissioning and after-sales maintenance contracts.
