We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Commercial Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Selection of Partnerships by identifying key areas of customer needs in the region where partnerships are required and working with global CMB partnership team on selecting third parties which are most relevant for the region
Proposition Development by working with select markets and product areas on gathering business appetite, customer recruitment, development of frontline and customer assets as well as monitoring of performance
Partnership origination and ongoing management; from identifying, selecting, testing, commercializing and monitoring 3rd party partnerships; leading the initial relationship with select partners, negotiating terms, measures of success, coordinating partnership execution and ongoing monitoring of performance
Partnership governance by working with risk stakeholders to on-board the partner in the region and follow the commercial banking new product governance process
Lead and assist with the training program for CMB MENAT staff by organizing training sessions and working with head of people excellence in MENAT as well as GCMB Sustainability learning lead. Help select relevant learning pathways and lessons and identify the targeted population to attend trainings.
Cultural Change by helping to embed sustainability as part of our DNA, creating an environment for knowledge and best practice sharing across regions and products, and foster a community of internal activists to affect change and support growth
Work with marketing team on runway of events, sending invites to relevant customers and ensuring content is relevant
Assist with case studies, speaking notes for panels and submission of success for relevant awards
Assist with any internal and external calls, ensuring that CMB sustainability narrative is well embedded in all relevant communication
Lead SF deal reporting by working with country champions to ensure pipeline and executed deals are correctly reflected is finance report and track progress against targets
Produce all relevant governance deck to ensure accurate representation of sustainability business
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Strong experience and background in a similar capacity.
A sound knowledge of the Corporate Banking business, including credit & lending, trade & payment products, services, systems and processes
Experience in front office will be advantageous
Experience in any of the following is required: project management, strategy, customer experience, business management
Knowledge in the field of Sustainability or Sustainable Finance including strong knowledge of the Group and CMB’s sustainability strategy, priorities and initiatives
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Track record of flexibility and adaptability in fluid environments of constantly changing priorities
Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
