What you’ll achieve
As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal leadership and guidance to the entire EMEA region's channel sales leadership team, as well as serving as the lead channel attorney for Middle East, Russia, Africa, Turkey (MERAT) and Central Eastern Europe (CEE).
You will:
- Support the Channel Sales leadership team for EMEA. Work with local country counsels in MERAT and CEE to negotiate and execute partner contracts and engage in material partner sales and compliance escalations
- Provide legal counsel and guidance for local partner incentive programs in MERAT and CEE
- Be responsible for channel sales contract templates for the entire EMEA region, in partnership with Western EMEA legal counsel
- Be responsible to proactively identify legal risk and the design of risk mitigation plans for the entire EMEA region, working collaboratively with other regional and local country counsels
- Partner closely with the Global and International legal leads to drive consistency in risk management and contracting between EMEA and rest of world

Essential Requirements
JD/Master in Law from an accredited law school
6+ years of law firm or corporate law department experience is required; a mix of both types of experience is preferred
Demonstrated background in contracts reviews, drafting and negotiation. Experience providing general regulatory and compliance related legal advice
Ability to engage with and build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in a multinational environment
Ability to articulate with and positively engage clients. Great interpersonal skills
Desirable Requirements
Experience supporting reseller and distributor sales transactions
Experience with different international business practices and regulations related to resellers and distributors, including competition law. Experience with or interest in legal technology
