Job Purpose

Directs and participates in reservoir characterization studies in the assigned field, monitors the interpretation of all available geological data in order to improve the geological models of producing for undeveloped & potential reservoirs.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

• Builds 3D geological models incorporating reservoir rock typing, structural, seismic, SCAL data and performances uncertainty analyses.
• Evaluates geological uncertainties in the subsurface by defining and ranking geological scenarios. Supports reservoir engineers in the simulation studies. Initiates and follows up closely on all geology related studies in new reservoirs carried out by consultants or shareholders in assigned field/concession area.
• Develops, directs, and participates in geological reservoir studies aimed at constructing and/or improving geological models. Includes coordinating and defining coring, logging and testing requirements.
• Coordinates and checks the preparation of geological requirements and geological predictions of appraisal and development wells.
• Coordinates and participates in the preparation of reservoir appraisal sheets. Includes reviewing and evaluating test results.
• Participates in the definition of contracted special field testing related to reservoir geology. Includes defining scope of special test required, preparing specifications, evaluating bids and recommending final award and contract features as assigned. Ensures contractors’ compliance with contract terms and schedules and monitors progress and performance through regular activity reports.

•    Proposes and prepares data exchanges / trades with companies active in the countries and emirates surrounding Abu Dhabi, to complement ADNOC corporate data base and to be used in regional studies.
•    Provide technical inputs for the preparation of regular management reports such as the weekly, Daily exploration / appraisal well drilling reports; Monthly exploration / appraisal drilling overview, etc.
•    Monitor geological consultants to ensure accuracy and clarity and report results to team members and other concerned parties.

• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Job Description

Job Objective:

To provide technical support for all mechanical systems on Qatalum Power Plant.

 

Job Description:

Develop, implement and manage the Inspection Regimes for pressure and Natural Gas supply.

Develop, implement and review Mechanical Asset Management Strategies for all Mechanical System areas of the plant.

Develop, implement and review of operating procedures and mechanical PMs.

Ensure mechanical technical support to Power Plant Operations and Maintenance groups.

Develop and execute mechanical system improvement projects.

Execute engineering and risk reviews leading to a continuous improvement process with identification, planning and preparation of identified projects.

Oversee the investigation of technical incidents in Power Plant as required, focusing on long term improvement of plant refinement of preventive maintenance and operational procedures.

Coordinate with smelter’s Technical group who will oversee engineering standards across the whole plant (reduction, carbon and cast house areas).

Mentor the assigned graduate development program national employee and prepare him for taking over the position within the stipulated development period

Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

Comply with all agreed occupational health, safety and environmental regulations in order to protect personnel and physical assets. Ensure that the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state in order that work can be carried out safely and effectively.

Generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.

Follow of all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

International experience would be an advantage

Mechanical condition base monitoring experience is a highly desirable

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure that Finance teams are providing month-end closing and all other required management reports

  • Must have 1-2 years of experience as Finance Manager within a 5 start hotel
  • Experience in the Middle East is an added advantage

  • Define a key- account program and strategy on how to approach top- market players and establish a global framework incentive agreement to grow the business.
  • Map out strategies for each account for prospects and set support targets for each including excess capacity and new routes/ products and communicate each month revenue support to each Head Office Corporate Account contact.
  • Prepare a Business and Marketing Plan in order to optimize revenue opportunities and maximize QR Cargo’s presence in the market. Revenue generation to exceed 30% of total network revenue generation from Global Accounts.
  • Maintain regular contact with the key clients, sales calls made by the sales force, establish contacts and maximize QR Cargo’s exposure to the marketplace. Meet main Head Office and Regional Management contracts at least once every 6 months. Meet GSA/ Outstation counterparts at least once every 6 months.
  • Manage the Sales and Operations Teams relating to Global Accounts to optimize Cargo revenue production, awareness of requirements and develop/ optimize their potentials. Communicate initiatives and progress on each Corporate Accounts Activity and progress and requirements.
  • Establish and regularly evaluate the department or teams’ objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and make appropriate changes if needed, to align with, and support the business.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 8 years of relevant experience within the air cargo/ freight forwarding industryHands on experience in air cargo sales and marketing
  • Strong existing relationships at a senior level with top air cargo freight forwarder segment within the air cargo related industry
